About Synnet
Synnet is a Washington, DC/Baltimore-based ensemble specializing in the performance of 16th and 17th-century music on period instruments, dedicated to expanding the ways and places early music is performed.
Our members have performed with many of the finest early music ensembles and orchestras in the world, and we share a common mission of presenting our music in new and fresh ways, particularly to non-traditional early music audiences and in unconventional venues.
We perform as featured artists on concert series of all kinds, as well as in collaboration with baroque orchestras, renaissance ensembles, and choirs. If you are interested in hosting a Synnet concert, having us collaborate with your ensemble, or just want to learn more about us, please complete the form on the Contact page. We would love to hear from you!
